Sketchbook

I was researching about sketchbooks at the time I was complying my one and I didn't see this one. 
I wished I'd seen this video sooner!!!!!

An excellent concise video on creating the great sketchbook.  By the way this lady got accepted into CALARTs.

Here's a brief summary of her 5 Easy Ways to improve your Sketchbooks.

1. Do not draw in order.

2.  Use Art Pens.

3.  When doing observational drawings of people, if they move don't stop keep drawing!

4.  Use your imagination.

5.  Practice composition.



Critical Review of my own Sketchbook 2014

After seeing this video, I can clearly state that my sketchbook was the main weakness.  I did everything that she suggested that I shouldn't do.  I drew in order, I used pencils and ball point pens ( a no, no) 

 

And for someone with a feverous imagination,  I didn't show any in my sketchbook!  I played it safe, I just drew what I see.
